What is NDIS?

Understand NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme, commonly known as the NDIS, is an Australian Government initiative that provides funding and support to eligible people with disability.

The NDIS is designed to help participants access the supports they need to live more independently, build skills, connect with their community and improve their quality of life.

Through the NDIS, eligible participants may receive funding for services such as personal care, community participation, transport, employment support, life skills development, household tasks and other disability-related supports.

The NDIS gives people with disability greater choice and control over the supports they receive. This means participants can choose providers, services and supports that best suit their individual needs, goals and lifestyle.

At Vidoma Care and Disability Services, we support NDIS participants to access reliable and consistent disability services that help them participate in everyday life with confidence.
